In Guido Haverkock we have an outstanding, talented and experienced chef whose passion for food creates a special dining experience at Tavola, our garden-terrace restaurant for guests and visitors.

This welcoming and relaxed setting is ideal for enjoying his interpretations of classic Italian dishes and, of course, sampling the best Tuscan wines selected by our maître Sommelier Salvatore De Genua.

In his distinctive cuisine, Guido uses only fresh, carefully-selected ingredients, mostly organic. He bakes our breads and insists on using the finest local organic olive oil. Menus change daily – reflecting what’s fresh and available and he’s pleased to offer alternatives to meet guests’ wishes or dietary requirements.

His love of food, balancing tradition and innovation, is obvious to all, and at the heart of the special experience we offer at Locanda Le Piazze.
Thanks to the hard work of Guido and all his team, the Michelin Guide awarded him with two forks, and Gambero Rosso gave him a score of 76.

On summer days, the countryside views are stunning, while in the evenings candles and stars add to the romance of the setting. Inside, a wood fire takes the chill off cooler evenings and winter days.

Continental Breakfast Buffet is served from 7.30 am to 10.00 am.
Lunch is served from 12:00 to 14:00
 (last order is at 13:45) and Dinner from 19:00 to 22:00 (last order is at 21:45). Booking is advised to avoid disappointment. Tavola is closed on Wednesday.

We can accommodate al fresco cocktail/reception and Dinner for 60. The inside restaurant can accommodate for cocktails/reception or dinner 30 seated.
